A true deli - an original, wonderful, friendly place that serves delicious food. According to the MyAreanetwork website, "Canaveral Meats & Deli is a locally owned business. We sell the freshest meat on the beach and also have a full deli with daily soup and sandwich specials." My partner and I decided to try this on the way back from an event. We wanted something different from fast food and saw this along the way. It is a street off A1A, north of Ron Jons. Located in a small, older, strip center it is one of the middle stores with plenty of parking for customers. The staff was very friendly and gave us great suggestions for sandwiches. 3 people were working behind the counter that stretched the length of the store showing the beautiful cuts of beef and side dishes. We ordered a Reuben and a roast beef sandwich and finished both before arriving home. We also picked up steaks for dinner. The sandwich prices were excellent at just under $6 for a GREAT sandwich. This is a deli and NOT a restaurant as there is no seating. It is a great place that I plan to visit again. If you are in the area and want some delicious sandwiches at a great price, I would highly recommend visiting this store!
Canaveral Meats is our go to meat and deli store. The beef, pork, chicken and bacon is reasonable and delicious. The subs and salads are homemade. Prompt and friendly service awaits. It is a very welcoming local business.
Canaveral meats is hands down the best deli I have ever been to. They have excellent service both at the counter and deli! Jimmy is always open for a good conversation while you wait for your food from the deli and there's plenty to shop for if you want to make just the one stop. Thank you guys!
We always stop here after a day at the beach before heading home to Orlando. The staff is extremely friendly, the ingredients are fresh and the bread is soft. The Italian sub is always our go to and have never been disappointed, highly recommend.
This is one of those hidden gyms found in a small step plaza. They have a large selection of prepared meals such as meatloaf, mashed potatoes and corn. It was delicious. I also bought a steak for grilling tomorrow. It's a small meat counter and deli but a huge selection. It's worth a try.
It looks a little sketchy when you pull up but this restaurant is so yummy. I got just a plain turkey and provolone sub and I've never tasted one better. I would say it's a close comparison to a Publix sub it's just that good. Everyone that had one with me said it was one of the best subs they've ever had. 10/10 recommend.
